In the year 2017 Mary Wilson's still just an old throw back from the sixties. Still telling old tired stories about the Supremes who been dead since the early 70's. Mary should stick to her old gown collection and just forget about The Supremes just like everyone else. And my God them nasty cheap wigs, wraps and gowns she's wearing now is AWFUL. You'd think Turdkissa would put down the bucket of fried chicken for a minute and tell her mama to buy a better $5 wig and $12 gown. Aunt Mary's gigs are drying up but her "manager" hog of a daughter Turdkissa will send her out on the road for $500 plus free pigs feet and draft beer. Still mad because Mary destroyed Diane? It's Time to Move On! Get over it.......................

She is not an in and out rehab patient. She still looks good and seems very happy today. I cannot say that about Ross!

Ross could disagree with Gordy, but Mary Wilson could not. Berry Gordy believed that artists should not be allowed to think for themselves, they should stick to making music.Ross with her baby's Daddy Marvin Gaye pointed out, " Diana always said do what Berry says, " but sometimes she didn't....But when the other girls would get out of line, Diana would be the one to tell Berry what what's going on behind his back." Ross ( in her darker days ) was clearly the most attractive of the trio and visual selling point. LOL

She has totally destroyed her legacy.

Speaking of not having a legacy, Mary Wilson played The Moon River seat theater in Branson, Missouri last year which holds 1800 and she sold a total of 397 tickets over a 3 night period. They couldn’t give them away. Needless to say Mark Down Mary won’t be invited back. Aunty Mary played Feinstein’s at the Regency 7 years ago and had 12 people in the audience the night I attended. After the show I helped her haul her nasty, raggedy luggage full of merchandise from her dressing room out to the club but everybody had left by then. She even stuck them with a bar tab and once again, Mark Down Mary won’t be invited back. Let’s face it folks, old Mary is played out and broke which is why she’s doing those awful Lena Horne shows for $1200 a night. Mark Down Mary’s playing BB Kings, NYC in early February and even at half price, the tickets aren’t moving. Poor old Mary should have accepted that 4,000,000 dollars in 2000 and retired after the tour. www.goldstar.com/new-york?q=Mary+Wilson

Diana Ross had been going around for over 10 years telling everyone that she was going to be starring in the Josephine Baker Story. Then Lynn Whitfield came along in 1992 and starred in the film doing a spectacular job!

Flo recalled the time Ross said to a journalist, that, yes, her real first name was Diana. "She'd come up with things, and the first we'd hear something would be with the rest of the public.....things she and Berry came up with, instead of letting Mary and me know ahead of time, so there we would be like lumps on a log and hear about it the first time when Diana would open her mouth and make like royalty or something.....No question, she did become Berry's spokesperson."

In 1969 Berry Gordy decided to launch a massive publicity campaign for his new act, the Jackson Five. Gladys Knight and her brother Bubba had heard Michael and his brothers sing for them. Shen "got on the the phone to our manager at Motown. When it became apparent that the Jackson Five were going to be superstars, Berry Gordy decided their discovery should be credited to another one of his biggest stars...none other than Miss Cute, Miss Diana Ross." In the late 1980s, the myth that Ross had discovered the Jackson would be exploded by Diana's on again, off - again friend Michael Jackson, who instructed his chauffer to call him "Miss Ross" but was not as close to Diana as both would like the public to think.

THE SUPREMES' FINAL APPEARANCEDiana Ross & the Supremes final appearance occurred on January 14, 1970 at Las Vegas' Frontier Hotel. The theme song for the evening, which was packed with celebrities, Motown employees, and their families, was the ironically titled "Someday We'll Be Together" ( background was sung by the Andantes, Motown's house background singers; even so, it became an anthem for Diana Ross and the Supremes.).THE ANDANTES Before the show, Diana was in the wings; Mary and Cindy shared champagne by themselves in their non-star dressing room. Cindy commiserated about how hard it must be for Mary, who'd been with the group since its inception. She replied, "Hey don't talk like this is a wake. Just because she's leaving doesn't mean we're dying. This is a happy night. The Supremes aren't dead."

The line-up of Mary, Florence, and Ross was magical and was what America fell in love with. The legacy is tarnished as Ross claims the songs are 'hers', and the Supremes are referred to as Ross' backup singers by the DIE HARDS. Ross is sliding to the D list ( some claim she is already there) with a cheap tour, and advertising that she is available for booking for events....tacky. Not to be completely negative, I must say Ross has made the transition from Superstar to Oldies Circuit Washed Up Has Been fluidly. www.google.com/#q=Diana+Ross+washed+up+has+been

She can no longer sing any of the high notes and I am now convinced that she watching and copying little things from Mary Wilson of all people! Notice how she held back the final words of the song for the audience to chime in? Well check this out from 2012:
