Personally I don't think so. Her voice is shot. Since it does not appear to be any companies looking to record her, should she put out her own recording? Thoughts........

When Ross was dropped by Motown, she said in an interview that no one wants her [record companies]. At that moment, I actually liked her for a moment because of her transparency.
Although there are rumors that Clive Davis wanted to sign Ross, but Ross did not want to relinquish creative control, and that Ross has many offers on the table but will not sign because of she would have to tour to promote the album and she does not want to tire herself out - I have found these not to be true.
Mary Wilson has released a dance track that has been successful on the dance charts. A ranking on the dance chart does not translate into sales, but it is not to be undervalued. People like the song and are dancing to it or hearing it at a club. A buzz is being created around Mary Wilson, particularly around a cutting edge audience that is most likely going to see her. She also has new material to give her a contemporary presence and is reaching a new audience. Many people like "underground" hits. In sum, the song is selling her live show, is creating a new brand for her, and brings a legend into the NOW - this is how Mary is benefiting from the song This looks like a high school auditorium.

It's either a high school or civic auditorium that has not been renovated. What possess Ross to remake a sixties song that was a hit very briefly and not well known today? If you happen to see a clip of her performing in 1980-81, you will notice that she still dresses the same way today on stage. It's like she is trying desperately trying to mimic her younger self from 35 years ago.

I am no great fan of Mary as a solo artist but i do admire her work ethic. She has used her limited talent to it's full effect, and if she manages to get this album that she has been talking about for the past 10 years or so i will be the first in line to applaud her.

With all due respect, you just put your foot in your mouth. Why do they feel the need to always bring up Mary Wilson when discussing Diana. I can recall Diana's fans complaining that Mary Wilson always talked about Diana in interviews. It appears to me that they are doing the same thing, but in reverse. Mary must have been the most influential person in Ross' life.

She even played 2 tracks for my nephew when sh was performming in Laughlin Nevada in 2001 or 2002. Im not keen on Marys voice unless shes singing ballads but i respect and love her as a survivor and a hard worker and a former Supreme. I bought all the Time to Move on downlaods but only played them but once as they werent very good imo. I loved Mother Dear and bought that but didnt care for Lifes Been good To Me but bought it anyway to support Mary. i dont think the Clarities CD will see the light of days. Yours, with every good wish. Roberta

Avril Lavigne's first album in 2002 sold more records than Ross did in her 46 year solo career. Her total albums sales are a few shy of the Supremes total album sales and she has sold almost as many singles as the Supremes did in the 60s.

With all these other artists outselling Diana Ross, why is she even considered a best selling artist?

Berry Gordy knew that every three years or so that Ross needed a number one hit to stay in the running. A record can go to number on based primarily on airplay and not sales. Berry used his influence to get Ross number one records as a solo artist, which coupled with her legacy as a Supreme creates a deceiving history. Also, fake bios by rabid fans perpetuate myths. Berry told Ross she wasn't selling records but Ross didn't believe him and neither did/do her fans.

Well thanks to the facts and data you've been providing, I now have to look at Diana Ross in a whole new light. She was a show woman and not a very successful recording artist. Which also leads me to believe that she has not earned the tremendous amounts of money her fans claim.
