Whoopi wanted her on the View but the producers wouldn't allow it. They pretend they really like you but as soon as you are not hot they drop you. No one wanted her after the Presidential Freedom Award and that surprised me. Girlfriend can't catch any interview anymore. I never ever thought Diana would be in this position. That was strange when I think about it. No one interviewed her on television after receiving that award. Mary Wilson gets interviews pretty regularly in major markets where she is performing. They interviewed her on WPIX in New York in Feb. when she played B.B. King's. I believe the major differences that Mary has extremely pleasant and down-to-earth person whereas Ross isn't real and just seem so flaky sometimes. There is a history of respecting forks where Ross does not.

If you ever watch a Diana Ross interview as far back as with the Supremes, pay close attention to how she speaks.

In town for a 5 day engagement and she wasn't on any of the morning shows which are all filmed there.
Why? Because she is on the D list now.

Remember Mary Wilson has not made any enemies except for Diana Ross and her tribe. From what I understand Ross has a boycott/blacklist against her.

I have to agree. Diana Ross has done her fair share of pissing people off. Her fans have done a monumental job of causing people to really dislike her. They have helped to ruin her career and reputation more than anything.

To repair her career , she must first repair her reputation. She needs to acknowledge her roots. She has not spoken publicly, directly about Florence Ballard or any of the Temptations in over 30-36 years. Years ago I suggested that she do a benefit concert in Detroit for Florence's daughters. Now even if she did one for a Detroit based charity it would be a start. She has done nothing that the public is aware for her hometown. Most importantly and probably the only thing that will repair career now is a Supremes Reunion. I personally do not need one now.........but she sure in the heck does! She's alienated so many people famous and non-famous with her poor behavior, that she must now show some form of sincere contrition or she will forever be labeled "that black bitch from Detroit that thought she could sing and stabbed her partners in the back while fucking the boss to get to the top......".
After that she should focus on the obvious like working with a few good songwriters and a great producer and put out her own CD.

An insider view: Diana Ross declines numerous media requests for interviews, often. Her choice. ...It's actually amusing (albeit confounding) that anyone assumes otherwise.

Why would she turn them down? They could only help her dead-assed career LOL! If she is doing this, then her fans should not blame anyone for her now failed career. She did it to herself!

An insider view: Diana Ross declines numerous media requests for interviews, often. Her choice. ...It's actually amusing (albeit confounding) that anyone assumes otherwise. I was watching a show on Suzanne Somers and she said that after she was dropped from Three's Company she couldn't even get an interview and the year before she was on the cover of every major magazine. I have read about many artists being frustrated on how they can not get a spot on any of the day talk shows or night talk shows to plug their new project.

Diane's interviews are like her autobiography, boring and full of nothing. It would be more interesting watching paint dry.

Oprah dedicated her final show to Ross. The show was boring, the interview with Ross revealed nothing, and as usual she brought in one of her kids during the interview. There were many, many, many complaints that Ross did not warrant the final show to the most successful talk show in history to Ross, and that the final show should have been profiled a more deserving personality. Ross has never had another appearance on network television after that debacle.

Operating under the guise of an inveterate anonymous insider, you are also being courted by major publishers to tell your story. So important to tell your story, you are being footed for travel and lodgings to interview retirered minor players in the music industry by these publishers.
Sometimes it is not the big lies but the little ones that unravel you. When you said that you wouldn't be participating in the forum because you would be traveling to interview Jean Terrell I knew you were a liar. Sitting in airports waiting for flights, lodging in a hotel all present a lot of down time. Most people would use this time to be available to catch up on online corrspondence, not shut it down. I guess your nervousness on meeting Jean Terrell paralzyed you, huh?
With book sales down, and the fact that no 'loving' reflection or essay of the Supremes or Diana Ross has not met even marginal success ( Secrets of A Sparrow is a laughable camp classic - considered one of the worst books of all time), I find it hard to believe that anyone is footing the bill for these interviews. Oh by the way, have you heard of Skype, text, e-mail, instant messaging, and social media? I am sure the finance departments of your publishers have.
I have friends in the industry, and no one can seem to place you. Oh by the way, where was your interview with Ella Fitzgerald published?
Hector, you have connections that worked with Ross on the second Motown signing. What you have posted about those years is CLOSER TO THE TRUTH. Do you know anyone who can place this man in the UK distribution or can verify any of his stories?
I was told Diana Ross thought her chance at a comeback would be by recording an album of standards, after all she had one of her biggest hits with Lady Sings The Blues. So she approached Clive Davis for a deal. He turned her down, telling her the market was flooded with such releases, but did offer her a chance to sing a duet with Rod Stewart to give her some much needed exposure in the music industry. Actually, Clive Davis did not believe he could revive her career, but let a legend down gently. Bluecock with such a lengthy and illustrious career , I can only imagine that your list of associates is the size of a phone book. What a busy Facebook page you must have!
This site needs to be shut down immediately. How could a moderator allow this trash to be posted is beyond me. I am so sick of this man's anonymous claims. Why do you need to post in a public forum if you are such an insider?
