Beyond humiliating when you consider that they used "Diana Ross' Star Power" in their promotion for the Essence Festival this year........HA! She has no star power! This may be the lowest attended Essence Festival in their 23 year history.

Still this was not as bad as being booed off of that stage by a crowd of Jamaicans. It couldn't happen at the Essence Festival because there weren't enough people there to begin with. LOL!!!!

Here in the U.K we have a festival called Glastonbury ( some of you may have heard of it lol) and for the past few years the organisers have been begging none other than a Miss Diana Ross to appear as the main headliner and every year at the end of Glastonbury the rumours start about who will be there next year and its always Dianas name up front...Lionel,Barry and Nile have all tried to persuade her but shes always too busy....now this festival just happens to be one of the biggest and well known in the world so it just goes to show that she is still in HUGE demand not just in the U.S.A but worldwide...so i kind of think that theres some real bitterness here folks with the usual folks trying to make out that Diana is not a crowd puller...well i really hope she takes up the offer one day and that will show the usual bitter folks just what a legend she is ...not much they can say about that is there.

One things for sure neither the Essence Festival or the Glastonbury Festival ain't ever going to be callin up old whoresish aunty mary Wilkins. That old Motown Matress is destroying Lena Horne songs in that awful tribute show she doing for 85 customers playing $10 a night. You should hear the old biddy croak out Stormy Weather in that awful mannish voice of hers which she ruined from smoking crack. Poor aunt mary need to work to feed her 450lb heifer of a daughter Turdkissa and her lazy assed jailbird of a son from that Dominican fruit picker and don't even ask about that old sissy willie wilson ferrer pitchford who Moisty adopted 5o years ago LMAO. Yep, Miriam Watkins is about as good a mother as she is a singer and we all know how bad the old Ho sounds. aunt mary has actually made my ears bleed. Her only two fans are Big Poppa Ralph boy Marv-Hector and his old Cuban Airways flight attendant boyfriend TWTR4EVAH. A pair of old broke cum stained sissies.

Her act these days is purely aimed at the oldies crowd. Nothing at all wrong with that, but to die hard fans it is a rather tired and predictable act, but to casual fans who want to hear the hits and nothing more it is a great show. Diana will not budge from this stance despite several offers to record so you either take it or leave it.

Nothing at all wrong with that, but to die hard fans it is a rather tired and predictable act, but to casual fans who want to hear the hits and nothing more it is a great show. Diana will not budge from this stance despite several offers to record so you either take it or leave it.   From the half empty houses in Jacksonville, FL and the Essence Festival it looks like customers are leaving it. How is the book coming? |

Also beginning around 1969 Lena Horne and several black female celebrities formed a sorority/club called BRAVO. The club consisted of Dionne Warwick, Lola Falana, Leslie Uggams, Mary Wilson, Judy Pace, Nancy Wilson, Diahann Carroll among others. Lena was the Den Mother. They all hated Diana Ross! |
